After being named State Winners, we spent the week in Melbourne as we were judged on the national stage at the Telstra Best of Business Awards in the ‘Accelerating Women’ category.
What an absolute honour and privilege to stand shoulder to shoulder with Australia’s leading small businesses.
We were thrilled to represent VA Institute as a go-to resource for the emerging Virtual Assistant Industry in Australia, and to highlight in detail the amazing opportunity for women to utilise their skills and experience to build a business that not only delivers freedom, flexibility and choice, but provides a low-risk, low-cost pathway out of workplace toxicity, exclusion, adversity and gender bias into a solid and sustainable business that delivers real income and independence.
VA Institute isn’t just a business; it’s a movement creating a legacy of empowered women across Australia – one that is reshaping futures, one woman, one family, one community at a time.
While we didn’t bring home the national award, we did make some amazing new business connections that will ultimately feed into the future opportunities for growth and development of not only VA Institute, but our growing Virtual Industry as a whole.
Such a valuable experience full of ‘a-ha’ moments and opportunities to think ‘outside the square’ – total business gold for us.
